Monthly Mayoral Walk – Mayor Bowser to Walk Capitol Hill

This Wednesday, December 18th at 3:30pm, Mayor Bowser will take her monthly mayoral walk. The walk is the Bowser administration’s opportunity to engage with commissioners and community members on pressing issues and concerns. Every district agency director and deputy mayor is expected to attend mayoral walks (though occasionally they send representatives if there is a schedule conflict). This month’s walk will be in  Ward 6! We will be covering Seward Square, Eastern Market, Barracks Row, the Easter Market Metro Project, and the traffic situation at Tyler Elementary.

ANC 6B Special Call Meeting on Eastern Market Metro Park Project

ANC 6B will hold a public Special Call meeting on Wednesday, September 18th 2019 from 7pm to 9:30pm at the Corner Store, 900 South Carolina Avenue SE. The purpose of the meeting will be to finalize and vote on ANC 6B’s formal review of the DC Department of General Services (DGS) Eastern Market Metro Park Project (EMMPP) for submission to the DC government Public Space Committee as an input into its September 26th hearing on the project.  All are welcome to attend. Residents will be given an opportunity to speak and are also encouraged to send ANC 6B any written comments prior to the meeting.
